Daniel Khuat is an Urban Planner who is committed to building better communities. His ambitions and interests in planning stemmed from years of traveling across North America and Asia. Whether he is traveling through communities by foot, car, or public transit, he would always think about how those areas are designed and the potential improvements that can be done to elevate them.
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Daniel has worked with many agencies in the Houston area on transit projects, community engagement initiatives, and a plethora of other improvement projects. One of his accomplishments was working with Houston METRO with promoting and successfully passing a referendum that would enhance public transportation across the region. Another noteworthy accomplishment was working as a primary facilitator for public utility projects affecting Houston parks. These projects provided Daniel an insight on how the ideas of improving communities can become a reality.
