Olivia Williams is a designer who is passionate about the natural world and the role that design plays in shaping our outdoor spaces. Originally from Houston, Texas, Olivia’s upbringing in Western Australia fostered a love for the environment and a desire to create beautiful, functional spaces that enhance our connection to nature. This passion led her to pursue a BLA at Texas Tech University and an MLA degree at the University of Tennessee. Throughout her master’s program, Olivia’s projects were based in conceptual spaces with fictitious narratives that encourage engagement on a sensory level. Olivia’s work is informed by her interest in theoretical concepts in landscape architecture, where she draws inspiration from her travels around the world, infusing her projects with a global perspective. Olivia is eager to explore and contribute to Austin’s vibrant and sustainable design community as she makes it her new home. When she’s not designing, you can find Olivia exploring the trails of the Smoky Mountains, attempting to cook new recipes, or cuddling with her foster kittens.
