Shreeyaa is a Designer who believes that Landscape Architecture plays an important role in environmental preservation and protection in the era of abundance use of non-renewable fuel sources. Having a background in Architecture and being a landscape designer, it gives her the ability to unite the built and natural environment in harmonious way.
Coming from the city of Mumbai, she has always been curious about solving environmental problems related to water systems and land reclamation. Her RISD master’s thesis “Synthetic Undulation” focused on addressing the problems of plastic pollution on the remote islands of Indonesia by examining vernacular ways of being and making, a possible way to understand and deal with problems affecting their local marine health. Excited to be a landscape designer and planner in Texas, she hopes to contribute in providing communities with diversified open spaces through innovation, advocacy, and stewardship.
