Tamara Fou is an Associate Planner based in the Houston office. She is passionate about active design, public/alternative transportation, and sustainable community development. Her interest in planning was shaped by working with community-based organizations throughout New York to support urban farms and green roofs that advocated for food access, environmental justice, and access to parks/green spaces. With her experience working for the City of Houston, she is excited to continue planning and engaging in the unique and diverse setting of Houston.
She completed her Masters of Urban Planning and Bachelors of Sustainable Urban Environments at New York University. Tamara is originally from Tokyo, and has lived in London, New York, and Los Angeles before moving to Houston. In her free time, Tamara likes to crochet, try out new recipes and restaurants, and cycle around and explore Houston.
