Vogel Creek Greenway integrates flood mitigation, social equity, and sustainability into a vibrant, 1-mile community space. As part of the Inwood Detention Recreation Plan, it transforms a former golf course into a flood-resilient, recreational hub. Houston Parks Board, in partnership with Asakura Robinson, the City of Houston, Harris County Precinct One, and The Brown Foundation, led a community-driven design process, creating the Vogel Creek Community Champions advocacy group.
